Liking this a lot! I'll certainly be going portable somewhere and trying to make some contacts:)

Credit has to go to Sam, EA3CIW for putting this together.

I've got it in my diary to make some noise on air too!

It might be helpful to at least put the dates in on this page !

This coincides with our "June Summer Solstice" event on the Sunday - unless there's a major downpour (or snow!) then the Essex clan will certainly be QRV from Galleywood from early 'til late. Hopefully the conditions will be better than last year nothing under 21MHz was usable until after lunchtime (big green splodge on DRAP map).

I thought the date sounded familiar :-) I was going to email you to say we should do something for this :p

I will definitely be on looking for club members. But until I find a different job afternoon portable just is not possible. And night time isn't going to happen unless I can setup before sun down. I don't get off work till 9:00PM local, so not much time for setup.

Sounds like that works out well Mark. Will be interesting to see how much activity is generated.

Sounds good to me! This date is also one week before the ARRL Field Day Event, although this is mainly for USA and both seem to prefer HF!

I will be out both weekends /P but using 2m & 4m and possibly 6m SSB from my FT847 using a 2m beam and home brew wire dipoles for 4 & 6. Power will be either be a 12Ah Slab or possibly my wife's old car battery? up some local hill and hoping for dry WX???!!!

Hope to get a few members in the log and also be able to apply for "Escape the Shack" Award?

Sadly for ARPOC activity I won't be out /p next weekend as I will be running GB1MSM, Manston Spitfire Museum, on 40m (240v power so ineligible), but members may try some /p kit from the site.
I just hope the bands stay in shape to allow plenty of activity.

Did anyone actually remember about this ? Were any contacts made ? I was on the air for several hours on Sunday (operating GB1JSS) but forgot all about this. Still made lots of QSOs though :-)

I managed to get 12 EURAO QSOs in the log on Saturday just before I went and supported the GB0MSM (Manton Spitfire Museum) SES.

Or even just some suggested frequencies and times to increase chances of working other ARPOCers.
