    Hi James

That is a good looking Go Box. What are the dimensions? Curious as to what you are using for your HF antenna?

    Re: My GoBox setup

    Hi John.
    Thanks for your reply.
    The dimentions are:
    Internal dimensions: 355 x 160 x 300 mm
    External dimensions: 420 x 220 x 340 mm

As for antennas I ise a multitude, mainly I use a end feed piece of wire, I also have a full size g5rv and a home made buddy pole which has coils for 15/17/20 meters and works well on 10 & 2. The end feed wire I use most is a piece cut to about 14 meters and connected to a 9:1unun. I also use a sota beams end feed cut for 20meter band with a homemade 4:1 balun. Any other questions feel free to ask

    That looks very smart James.

It looks like you've separated the 857 head and layed the main unit in the bottom of the box. Is that correct?

    Hi Matt,
the 857 is complete, not separated. I made sure the dimensions of the box would fit it complete.

    Re: My GoBox setup

Nice to see a Go box from a fellow D2 owner ! Have made a first attempt at something similar (not as sophisticated) using a small Stanley tool box that sits in the right rear corner having removed both the rear folding seats for extra storage space. Will try to post some pictures when i get time & work out how to !!
