Annoying "auto tag" generation

Seem the forum software is set up to "guess" Tags for each post. except that it always seems to generate too many which means the "submit" fails and you have to edit them (= delete them all).
Can this be either set not to generate the error or turned off.

Yes I've found this too, but didn't understand it. Annoying though.

I'll take a look at the options and turn it off.

Not actually noticed it myself so that shows how observant I am!

I've turned off the tagging system until I can find a way to stop it from auto generating tags.

I've also remove all the old tags from the database so we have a fresh start.
