I like the sound of this one but may take some time.

There is only 3 official camp sites in Guernsey, so this may take some time to complete but I may be able to find a few more places to camp.
First job is to find a smaller tent than the 5 man one we use now.

Ah, yes, I see what you mean!

Maybe the award could be re-worded so that you can use the same site on multiple occasions?
Operate a station from 10 different portable locations where you are camping overnight (see section B of the Award Rules for the definition of a "portable location")
    Would become:
Operate a station from 10 different portable locations where you are camping overnight (see section B of the Award Rules for the definition of a "portable location")
    Or
Operate a station from 10 portable locations where you are camping overnight with at least 7 days between each operation (see section B of the Award Rules for the definition of a "portable location")
    What do you think?

    My Choice would be:

Operate a station from 10 portable locations where you are camping overnight with at least 7 days between each operation (see section B of the Award Rules for the definition of a "portable location")

Living on a 25 sq mile rock cuts down on the available places to camp.

Just spotted something that made me chuckle:

    Definitions

    Definitions

Standard Exchange - A minimum of call sign, locator and signal report in RS(T) format buts be passed by both stations.

Good stuff. I'll adjust the award wording so it's a choice then.

Will you be offering an award for the LARGEST piece of portable equipment? I might stand a chance of actually winning something of you do....

Does it have to be a campsite? Would wild camping count?

Yes, a wild camp would be fine. You will still be camping on a site so I would say it's a campsite.

I think you may have misunderstood what wild camping is Matt? Im a great fan of wild camping because the nightly fees are within my budget...free! Wildcamping is basically camping anywhere that takes your fancy, on the road side, in a forest etc and not a recognised 'public' camping place. For example, if i were to go over the Pennines, and i spotted a peak i fancied operating from, set up the tent and my kit, that would be wild camping.
