    /P this week (21 March 2016)

It's forecast to be 12°C here this afternoon, so a trip out on my motorbike and a bit of /P is in order, after all it is spring now !
And tomorrow evening (22 March) we have a local VHF contest, and I'll be out /P from my car for that, but I'll be on HF (most likely on 80m) from late afternoon until 20:00.

Have a great time. I am glad to see the weather improving and people are getting out.

I have some trips planned in the next few months and I am looking forward to getting out and getting on the air. 8^)

    Hi John.
I did go out yesterday, but the weather was not as nice as forecast suggested. The wind was stronger and the temperature was lower so I was glad of the flask of tea that I took with me !
I looked at RBN when I got home and I did get one US East Coast spot on 20m (17dB) from WZ7I.

I plan to be on later today as the forecast is sunny 23°C but windy (20 to 30 Mph with gusts to 40) so it will be interesting to get the antenna up.

I am shooting for 2000 UTC. I will most likely be on 20 or 17 meters SSB. My CW is as rusty as an old nail and I am working to get back up to speed.

OK. Is that a bit late for 20m here in europe ? (I don't work 20m much) And our local VHF comp starts at 20:00 as well.
Get your CW polished and we can try a sked sometime.

I got out for a little while but the band was very noisy and the wind was relentless. I made a few stateside contacts and called it a day. I heard S57DX but the pileup was fierce and I have worked him before.

Maybe we will have better luck on our next outing.
