Xiegu X5105 Review.

The Xiegu X5105 is a 5 watt QRP transceiver.

Frequency coverage is 500 kHz to 30 MHz - plus 6 Meters.

Modes are SSB, CW, AM, FM.

It also has a built-in RTTY decoder, which works on receive only.

The internal battery is 12 V 3800 mAh hybrid polymer Li-Ion battery.

The standout feature is the highly effective built-in auto ATU.

It has DSP noise reduction and good selection of filters.

Amusingly, it has a PTT button and mic, so you can leave mic at home and use it is a HF handheld, if you put a whip on the BNC connector.

All digital modes are supported via the CE-19 interface kit.

I've been using mine for over six months now and the radio is rock-solid and works flawlessly.

NB: The X5105 shown in the video is a version 1 unit. The current version is version 2 which comes with some significant upgrades in both hardware and software.
